With the new spring season upon us, it’s a great time to ensure your Vauxhall is safe and ready for the road ahead. You can be confident that all checks are completed by our highly trained technicians, following strict safety procedures to ensure your car is returned to you safely.

There are three options of safety check to choose from:

Confidence, convenience and great value guaranteed

Bronze: FREE Bronze safety check, normally £15, when booked before 30 June: Maybe your vehicle is in need of some TLC after a few months off the road. Then you need our Bronze ‘Coming out of lockdown’ check. This comprehensive 29-point check includes a battery, tyre and aircon check as well as a full vehicle sanitization. 

Silver: Silver safety check for just £39: Our silver safety check gives you all of the above and more. Including a top up of all six of your vital fluids. Plus a complete vehicle anti-bacterial cleanse using our specialist sanitising system.*  

Gold: Gold safety check for just £69: Our Gold safety check is our most comprehensive yet. This 29-point visual check covers all your vehicle’s most important components, including your tyres, battery and air con. As well as a vital fluid top up. You’ll even get a replacement pollen filter and a £10 voucher to use towards your next service.

We will also give you 20% off a new battery if during the check we recommend a replacement.*

Safety Check Terms and Conditions

Offer ends 30 June 2021. At participating Retailers. Retail customers only. Applies to petrol/diesel passenger cars only. Price is Vauxhall recommended maximum retail price. Price includes parts, labour and VAT. Offer not available in conjunction with any other offer. Vauxhall accepts no responsibility for any repairs carried out by the Retailer. 

The Vauxhall 29-Point Check is a visual vehicle inspection of certain parts of the vehicle only, carried out by a Vauxhall Retailer. It does not compromise a full assessment of the condition of the vehicle and the vehicle driver remains responsible for monitoring and maintaining the vehicle in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations. Any recommendations made by the inspecting Vauxhall Retailer do not comprise representations of Vauxhall Motors Ltd. Recommended remedial work will be chargeable. If you choose not to have any remedial work done, your Vauxhall Dealer may recommend that certain essential work be carried out on the grounds of safety before you drive your vehicle. Check are subject to availability. Retail customers only. Vauxhall reserves the right to change, amend or withdraw sales allowances and/or amend pricing at any point in time. Cars

WLTP Figures shown are for comparison purposes and should only be compared to the fuel consumption and CO2 values of other cars tested to the same technical standard. The fuel consumption achieved, and CO2 produced, in real world conditions will depend upon a number of factors including, but not limited to: the accessories fitted (pre and post registration); variations in weather; driving styles and vehicle load. The WLTP (Worldwide Harmonised Light Vehicles Test Procedure) is used to measure fuel consumption and CO2 figures. The CO2 figures display a range to reflect the highest value for the highest emitting version with all available options added, through to a minimum value to represent the lowest emitting version in standard specification. Combo/Vivaro/Movano

Fuel consumption data and CO2 emission data are determined using the WLTP test cycle, and the relevant values are translated back to allow the comparability into NEDC. The values do not take into account in particular use and driving conditions, equipment or options and may vary depending on the format of tyres. For more information contact your local Retailer

Cancellation Policy

  • You have 14 days no quibble return policy except when you have altered the vehicle from standard Manufacturers specification (in this instance no return is possible under any circumstance). You must inform us in writing by post or email is acceptable to greig@Hutchings.co.uk.
  • £99 ONLINE Reservation Fee fully refundable.
  • New vehicle cancellation fee £500.
  • Used vehicle cancellation fee £250.
  • Holding deposit £250 kept until you return the Registration Document for the cancelled order.
  • You will be responsible for any Road Tax that we have paid for including extra charges that are payable upon registration of a new vehicle that are not refundable by the DVLA
  • £0.10 per mile charge(+VAT) for vehicle having covered more than 537 miles since purchase.
